The Aurora Sustainable Buildings Group is a corporate community of building performance professionals working synergistically to develop better value in buildings. Currently the group is comprised of three firms, Sustainable Solutions Inc., Demand Side Energy Consultants, and Geoexergy Systems Inc. providing complete sustainability, energy efficiency and earth energy expertise for any commercial facility.

Sustainable Solutions Inc. is one of the Canada’s foremost Sustainable Building Consulting firms having worked on more than 100 LEED Projects. Our staff are recognized leaders in the sustainable building field with a wide depth and diversity of experience in all aspects of sustainable building and the environmental sciences. The name Sustainable Solutions is inspired by our corporate vision, to provide cost effective building solutions that improve the environmental performance and social value of the constructed world. Our service approach is to facilitate sustainable building design and development by empowering our clients with information they can use to make decisions that best suit their needs through a holistic, integrated suite of sustainable building services.
Demand Side Energy Consultants Inc.
Demand Side Energy Consultants Inc. (DSE), Canadian-based energy management firm specializing in commercial and industrial energy audits, energy action plans and greenhouse gas emission inventories and reporting. Demand Side Energy Consultants Inc. has successfully delivered more than 500 projects commercial and industrial facility energy audits, energy use verification and engineering reviews for energy performance contracts over the last 20 years.
Geo-xergy Systems Inc.
Geo-Xergy specializes in the optimization of geothermal heating and cooling systems, or GeoExchange systems for commercial, institutional, industrial applications and residential systems. We are an engineering firm with a combined 35 years experience in designing geothermal heating and cooling systems and have completed projects ranging from large district geothermal energy systems of 700 homes that take advantage of waste energy rejected from ice arenas to single family homes. Our mission is to provide cost-effective and energy efficient that reduced capital costs expenditures while reducing operation costs through carful system design optimization.
